Exhibition in Paris

The exhibition in Paris has been worked out to be held at the end of January next year.
The exhibition is going to be held for 8 weeks. The IKTT textiles is really about to debut to the world. The exhibition will introduce about 40 pieces including the typical works in the past and the recent Ikat textiles.

The exhibition was decided to be held thanks for hosting by a French travel agency. We would like to introduce the products of natural dye and the real Kumer silk to the world. And also I hope visitors will touch the textiles that are made by hands not actually using any chemical things.

After the exhibition in Paris, the exhibition is scheduled to be held continuously in Lyon south end part of France in May. I am really expecting to see our exhibition in Lyon witch is the center of European silk industry and the birthplace of modern silkworm raising. I am all the more pleased, because we have been restoring the traditional silk weaving in Cambodia working together with people from Lyon who have special feeling and pride for their silk.

The exhibition and workshop are also scheduled to be held in Brussels, Belgium. The exhibition there is going to be collaboration with European and African like Morocco artists and artisans.

And the IKTT Germany that was organized in this year also prepares for the exhibition at the museum in Germany.

I think such events that introduce the IKTT textiles to Europe next year will become big supports to develop the Project site of Wisdom from the Forest in Cambodia.

We would be grateful for your continuous supports to the IKTT activities.
